I’m a Scottish researcher and writer.

For several years I was based in Oxford and London – first as a master’s student, then in academic publishing, then in criminal justice-related research and policy (primarily in the third sector).

I’m currently living in Glasgow and working on a PhD on prison expansion(ism).
